Relais Santa Croce, By Baglioni Hotels

My family and I loved everything about our experience at Baglioni Hotel Santa Croce. From the prompt and professional email responses to my various questions and requests prior to arrival to the staff during our entire stay, everything was beyond incredible. The hotel is gorgeous, with its rich history, amazing location, large and spacious air conditioned rooms and the amazing perfume scent permeating the entire property! We travel ALOT and this was by far the best hotel we’ve stayed at in all of Europe. What a hidden gem! Highly recommend!

Without question, this hotel was the highlight of our month long journey around Italy. It starts when you walk into the building. The air-conditioned lobby smells like roses, and the decor is beautiful. Our room was exceptional. There is no other way to describe it. Beautiful views. Amazing facilities. Close to everything. But our highlight was the reception staff - especially Giovanni. We were lucky enough to have the men and women who work at this hotel look after us and be extremely helpful. Giovanni and Dorina made sure we could get dinner reservations and contacted tours for us. Nothing was too much trouble. We are so grateful that we stayed here.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with great staff. All staff members ensured we had a wonderful stay, starting from the concierge who is always present (morning and night) at the entrance of the hotel to the reception desk and restaurant staff members. We received a free upgrade for our 2 night stay and the room was gorgeous. Breakfast was delicious and when asked to buy their own baked cookies, they offered the recipe to make some at home! We received multiple personal notes from hotel manager along with complementary goodies throughout the stay. Very friendly and professional staff. The hotel is walking distance to all the major attractions within Florence city center.

Location was excellent. Staff were very friendly. We had a minor issue with our room but the staff were absolutely fantastic and changed us to a larger room, free off charge. Beautiful dining area. The decor all round was very good indeed.

Beautiful hotel in old palazzo in Santa Croce district. Luxurious rooms, great breakfast and bar. Excellent staff througout. This was our fourth visit and we will return to this hotel. I took us 20 years to find this gem in Florence and we 'plan to stay anywhere else.
