I stayed at the hotel with my 4 year old son, and both of us fell in love with the place. We spent a lot of time reading/drawing/having snacks in the incredible Music room, and it felt like we were in a friend’s (extremely luxurious and grand) living room rather than in a hotel. The view from our window was also amazing, and overall it felt like the perfect place to stay in Florence, offering everything that draws the visitors to this city - history, style, art and beauty. But what made real difference was the people working at the hotel - warm, friendly and thoughtful. All our questions and requests were addressed without any delay and we were always greeted with a genuine smile. Even my 4 year old’s questions were treated very seriously, which did result in him wanting to come back to the reception “for a chat” at all hours (my apologies for that!). Special thank you to Dorina at reception - she really went out of the way to make our stay feel special! Will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic stay at the Baglioni Santa Croce. The location was perfect for walking around Florence and it is close to all major attractions. Despite its central location, the hotel is located off the main tourist path, so it is quiet. We had a suite which was spacious and clean. Covid measures were taken seriously at this property and we appreciated being able to have breakfast a la carte, instead of the buffet. Good internet, comfortable bed and good AC. But what made our stay so amazing was the staff at the reception and at the restaurant. In particular, a special thanks to Denisa whose helpful advice and recommendations were appreciated and to Matteo who took good care of us during breakfast and lunch. We would definitely recommend and stay at this property again!

Without question, this hotel was the highlight of our month long journey around Italy. It starts when you walk into the building. The air-conditioned lobby smells like roses, and the decor is beautiful. Our room was exceptional. There is no other way to describe it. Beautiful views. Amazing facilities. Close to everything. But our highlight was the reception staff - especially Giovanni. We were lucky enough to have the men and women who work at this hotel look after us and be extremely helpful. Giovanni and Dorina made sure we could get dinner reservations and contacted tours for us. Nothing was too much trouble. We are so grateful that we stayed here.

I have travelled the world but I have yet to meet such amazing staff as in Santa Croce. They were all just so incredibly helpful and very pleasant to deal with. They could not do enough for us. It really is the staff that make a hotel a great experience. As my friend mentioned to me it was a bit like visiting family, that’s how nice they are! Great hotel location and rooms very clean. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else if I travel to Florence again. A must!

the hotel very comfortable location in the historic center of the city. Denise is very prudent manager showing the best places to visit, absolutely exclusive in exception of standard tourist routes. manager Alessandra provides maximum attention and comfort to guests, so you feel like home!
