I stayed at the hotel with my 4 year old son, and both of us fell in love with the place. We spent a lot of time reading/drawing/having snacks in the incredible Music room, and it felt like we were in a friend’s (extremely luxurious and grand) living room rather than in a hotel. The view from our window was also amazing, and overall it felt like the perfect place to stay in Florence, offering everything that draws the visitors to this city - history, style, art and beauty. But what made real difference was the people working at the hotel - warm, friendly and thoughtful. All our questions and requests were addressed without any delay and we were always greeted with a genuine smile. Even my 4 year old’s questions were treated very seriously, which did result in him wanting to come back to the reception “for a chat” at all hours (my apologies for that!). Special thank you to Dorina at reception - she really went out of the way to make our stay feel special! Will definitely be back!

Absolutely beautiful hotel with great staff. All staff members ensured we had a wonderful stay, starting from the concierge who is always present (morning and night) at the entrance of the hotel to the reception desk and restaurant staff members. We received a free upgrade for our 2 night stay and the room was gorgeous. Breakfast was delicious and when asked to buy their own baked cookies, they offered the recipe to make some at home! We received multiple personal notes from hotel manager along with complementary goodies throughout the stay. Very friendly and professional staff. The hotel is walking distance to all the major attractions within Florence city center.

The air-conditioned lobby smells like roses, and the decor is beautiful. Our room was exceptional. There is no other way to describe it. Beautiful views. Amazing facilities. Close to everything. But our highlight was the reception staff - especially Giovanni. We were lucky enough to have the men and women who work at this hotel look after us and be extremely helpful. Giovanni and Dorina made sure we could get dinner reservations and contacted tours for us. Nothing was too much trouble. We are so grateful that we stayed here.

From the prompt and professional email responses to my various questions and requests prior to arrival to the staff during our entire stay, everything was beyond incredible. The hotel is gorgeous, with its rich history, amazing location, large and spacious air conditioned rooms and the amazing perfume scent permeating the entire property! We travel ALOT and this was by far the best hotel we’ve stayed at in all of Europe. What a hidden gem! Highly recommend!

Spacious and comfortable. Breakfast each morning was very good. We loved the location because so much was within a ten minute walk but not in the thick of the hoards of people. We would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and stay again.
